| GENERAL INFORMATIONS |
|
|
| ( Rental minimum period : 24 H. |
|
| A delay of 59 minutes is allowed. |
|
| Beyond, an extra day will be charged. |
|
|
| Age and drivers licence : |
|
| ( Drivers licence must be mandatory presented for each rental. It must come from Europe or be international. The certificates of loss or theft are strictly denied. |
|
| ( Driver’s licence issued at least 12 months previously |
|
| ( Minimum age : 21 with a young driver extra charge |
|
| 23 for category A(D |
|
| 25 for category E(Z |
|
|
|
| Accepted means of payment : |
|
|
| For your own convenience, we would advise paying for your rental with credit card or with JUMBO CAR approved rental voucher. |
|
|
| ( When pick up your car, you will be asked to make a deposit payment equal to the non waivable excess, by credit card only (CB, VISA, EUROCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS), if the CDW and TPC additional coverage policies are accepted. Should the additional coverage or policies not be accepted, the deposit required shall be equivalent to the maximum liability (see attached spreadsheet). The credit card must be at your name and surname. If you don’t have any, original address and solvency certificates will be required : 3 last invoices of phone or electricity, 3 last receipt of rent, 3 last bill of pay or income. |

| ( Estimated cost of rental will be charged when the customer collects the vehicle. The possible refund will be done under 30 days by mail. |
|
|
| ( For the vehicles rented on promotional rates, any failure to comply with the length of the rental agreement, as set out in rental contract, will automatically lead to our published brochure rate being applied retroactively as from the date on which the vehicle rental actually began. |
|
|

|
| RATES |
|
| Rates include : |
|
|
| ( Oil, maintenance and car documents. |
|
| ( Civil liability and third-party |
|
| ( Unlimited mileage. |
|
| ( VTA of 8.5 % |
|
| ( Extra driver if spouse. |
|
| ( Car loss of use in the event of an accident. |
|
|
| Rates don’t include : |
|
|
| ( The non-waivable excess or the deductible in case of accident or stole of the vehicle (see additional coverage). |
|
|
| ( Fuel : any missing gas will be charged at the public rate with an extra charge of 8,5 € (filling fees). |
|
|
| ( Delivery fees for second keys set (in case of degradation, loss or theft) : 20 € |
|
|
| ADDITIONAL CHARGES |
|
| Airport charge : an additional charge of 20 € will be charged for any rental from airport. |
|
|
| Extra driver charge : only drivers mentioned in the contract are authorized to drive the JUMBO CAR vehicle. |
|
| ( Clients should notify the station of any extra driver when collecting their vehicle. |
|
| ( A flat-rate of 15 € per each additional driver shall be charged. |
|
|
| Drivers between 21 and 23 : for drivers between 21 and 23, a flat rate of 15 € shall be charged. |
|
|
| Dirty vehicle extra charge : any vehicle returned excessively dirty (pets fur, sand, mud, stained saddlery, etc …) will lead to a complete washing charged 25 €. |
|
|
| SPECIAL EQUIPMENT |
|
| Deliveries / recoveries : |
|
| ( Any delivery or recovery of a vehicle will be billed at 20 € / vehicle. |
|
|
| Vehicle equipment : |
|
| ( Baby seat : 5 euros/day or 11 euros for the duration of rental (from 1 week) or Child booster : 5 € / day or 19 € for the duration of rental (from 1 week ). |
|
|
| One-way rentals : |
|
| ( Should the vehicle be returned to a station other than the one it was rented from, please contact us. |
|
|
| RETURNING THE VEHICLE |
|
| ( The vehicle should be returned during normal JUMBO CAR station opening hours. |
|
| ( Any vehicle returned outside opening hours shall be at the client’s risk. |
|
| ( Rental will be billed as finishing at the start of the next JUMBO CAR working day. |
|
|
| ( |
|
| ADDITIONNAL COVERAGE |
|
| ( The occupants of a vehicle rented from JUMBO CAR, the person hiring the vehicle and/or the authorized driver are covered by third party insurance. The customer remains liable for any material damage and the left of the vehicle up to a ceiling that is to be found in the table below. JUMBO CAR offers the following extra coverage policies to provide you with additional protection : CDW (collision damage waiver, TPC (theft protection coverage) and PAI (technical assistance and individual insurance for the people transported in the rented vehicle). |

| ( In case of guilty accident or without third party identified, the applied excess will be equivalent to the amounts in accordance with the following table. |

| ( In case of vehicle theft and/or accessories, the applied excess will be equivalent to the amounts in accordance with the following table. |

| ( Customers are liable for any damage to the tires, rims, towing charges, degradation or theft of accessories (side-view mirror, antenna, flashing light, light), damage due to water (sea, rain showers) because of negligence, inside damage, underside vehicle damage and damage non complying with a good use of the vehicle, remain on the financial responsibility of clients even if the CDW has been subscribed. |

| ( If keys are lost, it is necessary to replace all locks of the vehicle. The total cost of this expense will be charged to the customer. |
|
|
| ( Replacement of keys in case of degradation will be charged to the customer. |
|
|
| ( In case of a stolen vehicle, if the keys are not returned to JUMBO CAR, then the full value of the vehicle will be charged to the renter. |
|
|
| ( Any damage to the vehicle caused by an unauthorized driver will be charged to the renter. |
|
|
| ( Material damages caused on the vehicle are covered by additional insurance only if the third party is identified and the accident report form filled within 24 hours. |
|
|
| ( Theft or degradation of the vehicle must imply a report to the police. In the absence of report, the total payment of damage by the client will be required. |
|
|
| ( Personal items are not covered by insurances.. |
